This Cuisinart GR-4N is one of the most versatile appliances out there and I will definitely let you know where to get it on sale.
You can use it as a press, grill, and griddle! It takes very little counter space unless you want to lay it flat. When flat, this takes up about as much space as a full size electric griddle that you probably will not be using any longer.
Cooks a perfect steak in 5 minutes, grills salmon in 6 minutes, sautéed mushrooms in 3 minutes. Grill burgers, quesadillas, and the list is endless! Meals in minutes for anyone with no time to cook!
There are endless combinations of Panini sandwiches that you can make. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Sandwiches are low-fat because you don't need butter to grill and you still get that crispy texture on the outside with soft bread inside.
Did I also mention this would be perfect for a son or daughter at college, or in their own apartment? Fast Foods seem to be the staple of life for their generation, so what better way to get them to eat healthy? (Without them knowing of course.)
It is compact when closed so it is easy to store.
I especially like the fact that you can remove the non-stick cooking plates for cleaning. Much easier than trying to wash them while attached to the unit...ugh!
Takes only about 5 minutes to heat up to high/sear.
The grease tray is incorporated in the grill and easily removed for cleaning. (Some other models don't even have a grease tray - what were they thinking?)
The grill/griddle plates are reversible with one side a grill and the other a flat griddle so no need to find a storage place for the plates not in use.
The Cuisinart GR-4N 5-in-1 Griddler is definitely worthy of a counter space in the kitchen!
