The camelbak hydration pack is an undersized backpack that can hold up to about 80 oz of water which also has an attachment for small cargo. This hydration pack is connected via a long plastic tube which comes out of the water bladder which ends an L-Joint with a small valve. When ready to drink from your camelbak hydration pack all you have to do is bite down on your yellow or blue tube and begin to suck on the tube to begin drinking. Also about the L-joint which has a valve that can be shut off or on to prevent accidental leaks from your hydration pack. In the past the older designs you could fill up your bladder without even removing the bag now the newer version gives you the option of taking the bag out.

This compartments are both zippered which can really secure your important items when backpacking.
