Toaster Oven With Toaster Review

A toaster oven is different from a toaster in that it is a mini oven. It can do everything that a normal oven can do except that because it is small, it can do so only in small quantities. It is a versatile piece of kitchen equipment while all that a toaster can do is brown your bread.

Not many people who want a toaster go for a toaster oven. This is simply because of the price difference. Most toasters cost between $25 and $40 while a toaster oven costs around $70. If all that you are going to do is toast your bread, there is really no need to pay more and get a toaster oven. Apart from this there is also the difference in the physical size; a toaster oven will occupy much more space than a toaster would and if you have low counter space you may want to go with the smaller toaster option.

A toaster oven is good when you want to do a number of things apart from just toasting your bread. You can basically use it like a mini oven if you have a smaller batch of food that you want to cook and using this will reduce the time taken; a bigger oven will take longer simply because it is bigger. The only problem with this is that since you are placing your bread on top of a grill, you will get bars on your toast, plus since the oven is bigger than a toaster, it will take longer to make taking around 6 min to toast your bread while a toaster can do it in just 3.

Some manufacturers have tried circumventing this problem by combining the toaster oven with toaster. This means that you have a mini oven, but you have two slots on top that you can use as a toaster separately. This means that you get your toast on time while still having a mini oven. Although this is a very good option, once again it is the price that is the problem. If however you like toasted sandwiches, which means that the sandwich maker is out, then this may be a good option. You can place the biggest sandwich that you can make inside and it will still do the job. You also have the option of toasting your bread, making your sandwich and then keeping it in the oven to stay hot till you eat it.
