If that's not your thing you may want to look for a propane grill. Propane is becoming more and more popular. If you live in an apartment complex this may be your only option since charcoal grills really aren't allowed.
Propane grills are much cleaner and much lower maintenance than the charcoal grills. You can also get these grills I a much larger size than the charcoal style. This grill is more for the urban griller than enjoys it on the weekends. You will also be offered tons of bells and whistles with these grills. You can get rotisseries, griddles, flat plates, and even side burners for cooking beans or sauces.
The third grill is the electric grill. This grill is very new to the market and designed for the environmentally conscious. They are smaller and easily portable. They clean up very quickly and are out of sight within minutes.
It doesn't matter what type of grill you are looking for as long as you buy one that you will love and enjoy for years to come.
